On Saturday September 28 at the Harare International Convention Center in Harare, Zimbabwe, local middleweight Charles Manyuchi (23-4-1 with 14 KOs) takes on Argentina’s Diego Diaz Gallardo (22-6-1 with 13 KOs).
Manyuchi is aiming to make a break-through, while Diaz Gallardo will attempt to resurrect his career after a 2018 domestic setback to Billi Facundo Godoy. A professional since 2009, Manyuchi (age 30) had a nice roll in 2017, including a win over decent Michael Mothmora in France. After anither win, he was upset by compatriot Billi Facundo Gody in a non-title fight late last year.Â
Also on the Zimbabwe show, local junior welterweight Brandon Denes (6-0, 3 KOs) clashes with Malawi’s Byson Gwayani (12-6 with 5 KOs). Gwayani, a 23 year-old southpaw from Malawi, made his pro debut in March of 2016. source: wbf
