Veteran broadcaster, Eric Knight has been named Customer Hero of the Year by Sky TV.
He said : “Well, I’m not the type who likes the limelight which is why you will hardly see me in the papers. All I love doing is my work with all my heart and I let my works do the talking.
But when a world class media institution of SkyTV’s magnitude and their clients and customers pick you, then appreciation become a necessity. I deliberately avoided this function but that did not stop anything. When your name is announced through a powerful PA System and thousands of guests expect to see you walking across the Giant screens to pick up an award, and you dont pitch up, I know its an anti-climax but my spirit was there surely. Someone had to stand in for me, thanks Steve Burns and Adam for doing the honours.”
