Zimbabwe Vice President General Constantino Chiwenga ordered a DNA test on his last son after discovering he had an STI in July leading to suspicion his wife was seeing other men , theZimbabwenewslive.com can exclusively reveal.

It was in July when ex-model wife Mary Mubaiwa was asked for a DNA of their youngest son (name withheld for legal reasons ) after doctors treating him in South Africa realised he had a rare condition of sexually transmitted disease. Chiwenga’s DNA failed to match the young son’s he thought was his and he went into a rage.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa said at the time his deputy Constantino Chiwenga was receiving medical treatment in a South African hospital.

“Since getting the DNA results, both Mary and Chiwenga have been on a journey to get answers, with Chiwenga banning Mary from his house  and hospital— and Mary contemplating on her next move”, said a source close to the family.

Chiwenga has been battling ill-health and has been in and out of hospital over an undisclosed illness. He has not been seen in public for months now.

In October last year, the government revealed that the VP had received some medical attention in a South African hospital on the effects of a bombing incident in Bulawayo in June, in which President Mnangagwa escaped unhurt.
