A Zimbabwean woman, Jacqueline Chigumbura accused of trying to lie her way onto a nursing course will face trial by a jury in Stevenage, the United Kingdom.
Jacqueline Chigumbura, of Chertsey Rise, Stevenage is charged with dishonestly claiming to meet the minimum qualification requirements needed to study nursing at the University of Hertfordshire.
The 40-year-old is also accused of using a false certificate when applying and faces three charges alleging she falsely tried to claim cash from the NHS student bursary unit.
Appearing at Stevenage Magistrates Court, Chigumbura was told she would face trial by jury at Cambridge Crown Court in July. Mercury Midweek
