Pint sized musician completed a tall order and married his longtime sweetheart Caroline Rutendo Makamache last Saturday in Bulawayo.
Zim Morning Post Lifestyle had an exclusive interview with Moyo’s wife and she revealed how they met. The couple met at OR Tambo International Airport in 2018.
“We dated for a year and three months after we met at the airport in South African, he was going to Zimbabwe and I was travelling to the United States,it was love at first sight,” narrated Makamache.
Asked on how she is managing long distance relationship given the fact that Moyo has a tainted history as a love rat, she replied:
“Communication, transparency, praying together and really becoming best friends is what keep us stronger.”
Makamache refused to divulge the figure that Moyo parted with in respect of lobola payment. She hinted that Moyo will likely relocate to the United States where they will start a family.
Makamache runs a charity organisation while Moyo doubles up as a farmer and musician.
He slipped into his late father’s Herculean shoes and has managed to hold fort taking over the stewardship of Utakataka Express.
