Seasoned journalist Dalubuhle Augustine Moyo has died aged 38.
Dalu as he was popularly known died early hours of Tuesday near Pennywise in Eastlea Harare after the driver of a car he was travelling in lost control according to witnesses.
Dalu was on his way home to Marondera when the accident occurred.
Colleagues in the media have described the death as tragic.
An affable and easy-going Dalu used to work for Zimpapers as The Sunday Mail Business Editor before he left to join Zinara as head corporate communications executive.
He later resigned this year from the post to pursue personal business interests.
Dalu is survived by his wife — Chantelle and three children Chacha, Rebecca and Ethan aka Dalu Jnr.
Funeral arrangements are in progress and mourners are gathered in Marondera.
