Residents of the area close to skyline toll gate along the Harare-Masvingo Highway woke up to a shocking sight this Sunday after a man was found dead tied to a tree.

The man, who is believed to be from the Border Gezi Housing Co-operative, was found dead tied on a tree at a Masowe Shrine this Sunday morning.

“I can confirm that a man was found dead at a Masowe Shrine close to the skyline toll gate. Police is still making investigations on the matter,” he said.

Residents from the area alleged that he was murdered by sand poachers who operate just in the vicinity of their residents.
