President Robert Mugabe (92) cancelled his scheduled trip to Ghana amid reports his health condition continues to deteriorate.
This comes amid revelations four doctors from Singapore who flew into the country a fortnight ago ahead of the Heroes and Defense Forces holidays are still in the country monitoring Mugabe’s health.

“Doctors are still at his state house and those close to the president say he is not responding to medication,” said the source.
Mugabe last appeared in public when he officiated at the Defense forces holiday where he delivered one of his shortest speeches ever.
Mugabe delivered a 14-minute speech and immediately left the National Sports Stadium.
“That was not normal especially given the politics in the country. He could have warned security chiefs not to dabble in the political affairs of the country because Defense forces commander had issued a stern warning to G40 faction which is engaged in a cutthroat succession debacle with the vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa faction.”
Sources also said last Tuesday Mugabe looked frail and did not take much time at his weekly cabinet meetings.
Mugabe’s health has been deteriorating as this year alone his foreign trips have already gobbled US$80 million. In June alone he travelled to his Singapore medical base two times while in May he sneaked once for medical check-ups.
Mugabe has prostate cancer and eye problems.
During the Defense Forces ceremony was not stable and could not stand for long hours.
