Nicholas Goche Junior died in South Africa last week.

Goche is among several former Zanu PF stalwarts who were recently stripped of their government and party posts and slapped with five-year suspensions for allegedly belonging to ousted former Vice-President Joice Mujuru’s Gamatox camp.

The camp has been accused of plotting to kill President Robert Mugabe.

Most key members of the faction who include former Zanu PF spokesperson Rugare Gumbo, former secretary for administration Didymus Mutasa and former Masvingo Provincial Affairs minister Kudakwashe Bhasikiti rubbed shoulders with members of their rival camp at the funeral service.

They freely mixed although with relative unease with government and party officials who included national political commissar Saviour Kasukuwere, Defence minister Sydney Sekeramayi and Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs minister Martin Dinha, among others.
Mujuru is expected to officiate at the burial ceremony in Shamva this afternoon.
