Prophet Magaya in court for rape

PHD LEADER Walter Magaya appeared in court for raping a 25-year-old at his house in Mt Pleasant.

Magaya appeared before Harare magistrate Vakayi Chikwekwe who remanded him out of custody to September 15 on US$2 000 bail.
Allegations are that sometime in June 2015 Prophet Magaya invited the woman at his Mt Pleasant house and started showing her around his house.
He later left her seated in another room and later returned to the room whilst naked.
Allegations are that Prophet Magaya raped the woman and gave her US$200 to conceal the matter.
The woman later told her boyfriend sometime in July last year.
