Controversial raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda was attacked over the weekend after she apparently turned down a bouncer’s advances on her.
According to the local tabloid, H-Metro, Bev was attacked at Peter Moyo’s show on Saturday by a bouncer who has been identified as Romeo after the pair exchanged words. Romeo also assaulted Bev’s manager, Harpers Mapimhidze after he had tried to intervene. The two have since filed a police report against Romeo.
In an interview with H-Metro, Bev said,
We arrived at the show with my group and Romeo requested to escort me into the venue which I declined.
He then insulted me and I responded and he then assaulted me. My manager tried to intervene and he head-butted him leaving him injured. We had no option, but to go and report to the police and seek medical attention for Harpers.
Harpers added,
It is true it happened and we lodged a complaint with the police who are handling the matter. We don’t know his issues. Bev refused to entertain him and when I intervened he started assaulting us. I had to sacrifice myself when he attacked Bev and he turned on me.
