HARARE-Flamboyant Gokwe Nembudziya Legislator, Justice Mayor Wadyajena was chucked out of parliament when he turned up for the question and answer session clad in his Zanu PF party regalia.
The youthful legislator, who arrived about 45 minutes after sitting resumed, drew jeers from parliamentarians who reacted angrily to his disrespect of parliamentary dress code.
The standing rules and guidelines bar MPs from entering the August house clad in party regalia. Wadyajena however resurfaced a few minutes later having removed the multi-coloured jacket bearing Zanu PF symbols that include mugshot pictures of President Robert Mugabe who is also the Zanu PF leader.
Speaker of the national assembly, Jacob Mudenda, warned MPs against violating parliamentary stipulations.
