It never rains but it pours these days for entertainment promoter and entrepreneur, Teemak who reportedly found himself on the wrong side of the law, after allegedly defrauding a car sale in Harare.
Teemak, real name Taona Oswald Chipunza courted the wrath of the law when he allegedly pawned off a vehicle, which he purchased on credit from PanJap Motors, to a loan shark in order to pay off his debt.
According to word on the street, Teemak reportedly purchased the vehicle priced at USD60k from PanJap Motors. He is said to have paid USD10k upfront for the vehicle.
In a bid to try and settle a debt with a loan shark, Teemak is said to have pawned off the car for USD40k.
Word got out to PanJap and the matter was reported to the police, who reportedly arrested Teemak on allegations of fraud.
In a video which has gone viral on Social media, the vehicle is filmed being repossessed by PanJap while onlookers marvel at the entertainment hotshot’s fall from grace.

Meanwhile, Teemak’z sister Namatai has taken to social media to rally behind her brother and insinuated that the public have a wrong image of her brother as they don’t have the full story.

Although Teemak has been in the entertainment business for a while, he grabbed the headlines as the man who had secured Dancehall Singer, Enzo Ishall’s signature against all the odds.
Enzo’s exit from the famed Chillspot Records and from the clutches of Prophet Passion Java, who is one of Chillspot’s occasional backers stirred up controversy.
