AirZim spokesperson found dead in bush

AIR Zimbabwe (AirZim) spokesperson Shingi Dhliwayo has died.

AirZim passenger and cargo general manager Chris Kwenda confirmed the tragedy, but said he did not have full details.
“Yes, that is true, but we are just receiving information as it comes in,” he said.

Sources at the national airline said Dhliwayo was reportedly found dead at an unnamed Botswana hotel, although circumstances leading to her death were still sketchy yesterday.

“We got messages in the morning about the death of Dhliwayo which was later confirmed. We heard that she was found dead in Botswana where she was on a private trip, but details are still scant as to what exactly happened.

Apparently, her husband is on his way to identify the body and I am sure we will soon know exactly what happened,” the source said.

A close family member who spoke on condition of anonymity said: “We do not have all the details surrounding the death, but once we do we will let you know.”
