Mamelodi Sundowns’ Khama Billiat, who is arguably the hottest property in the PSL at present, has become a wanted man at a top club in Italy.

It has been previously reported in Soccer Laduma that Belgium outfits, Club Brugge and KV Oostende, have been monitoring the player, after his impressive performances under the mentorship of Pitso Mosimane at the Brazilians, as well as with the Zimbabwean national team.

Siya sources have now revealed that Italian Serie A side, SCC Napoli, who have become one of the strongest sides in the league in recent seasons, are interested in the 26-year-old’s services.

The Siya crew contacted the Italian club’s head of communications, Nicola Lombardo for an official comment. However, he declined to comment on the matter.

As reported by the Siya crew in the past, Masandawana have already turned down an offer of around €1.2 million (±R18.2m) from Egyptian giants, Al Ahly, as the club was looking for a figure close to €2.5 million (±R37.9m) at the time.

Now, it remains to be seen whether interested outfits will be keen on meeting the Sundowns’ asking price for the Zimbabwean international come the January transfer window window.-Soccer Laduma
