Zimbabwe People First president Joice Mujuru on Saturday told his party supporters that bond notes are illegal.
She warned that Zimbabweans risk losing their investments as bond notes are “toilet paper”.
The bond notes are due to be introduced in October.
“They are telling us that the bond notes are supported by $200 million facility.
“Has USA given you the go ahead to print the bond notes?
“Its illegal” she said in Bindura.
“You are being lied to. You will end up holding on to those papers (bond notes) when you have lost your cattle”.
