Bushiri’s spiritual son Apostle Tannah predicted Zimbabwe ‘shut down’ riots

A young man of God, Apostle Israel Tannah known as Major 1 Jnr, a spiritual son ministering under the grace of Prophet shepherded Bushiri , Major1, prophesied on Sunday  3 July 2016 made a startling “prophecy” that Zimbabwe will be rocked with riots bringing the capital Harare to a stand still.

Major 1 Junior , who is based in UK and had come for prayers in Malawi, even specified days on which the predicted riots were likely to occur, urging his congregants to pray against “lives being lost”.

The cleric was certain the prophecy was likely to come to fruition.

His prophecy was recorded in a video which was released after the church service and by Monday afternoon the prophesy had already come to pass..

Zimbabweans are in protest against endemic corruption at the hands of Robert Mugabe’s government.

The protest, known #ZimShutDown2016, was coordinated by the #ThisFlag movement  launched by  pastor Evan Mawarire which has seen thousands of people take to social media to voice their criticisms of the widespread corruption, injustice and poverty in the country which has been ruled by Mugabe for 36 years.

According to a worshipper who attended Apostle Tannah’s sermon on Sunday, she said the prophecy was backed with Biblical verse of Isaish1:7 which states:“Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.”

The Bible also reveals the cause of the riots. Before warning  of the violence to come, Isaiah 1:5-6 state: “Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”

According to Reuters report, in the volatile township of Mufakose, to the west of Harare, hundreds of youths barricaded roads to keep people from going to work, Reuters witnesses said.

More than 40 people were arrested across Zimbabwe for blocking roads and disturbing the peace, said Charity Charamba, a police spokeswoman. Among them was a Belgian tourist held in the resort town of Victoria for unlawful protests, she said, correcting her earlier statement that an Australian had been detained.

Local units of Barclays and Standard Chartered shut their branches in central Harare. Clothing retailers Edgars Stores and Truworths closed stores.

Zimbabwe last witnessed such a protest in April 2007.-Nyasatimes
