MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa is reportedly facing ra_pe charges which were filed by an yet unknown complainant
The Observer reported that a docket has already been opened at the Harare Magistrates’ Court on the charges.
The Police are supposedly waiting for Chamisa to return to Zimbabwe before apprehending him.
Chamisa is currently on a diplomatic charm offensive in undisclosed African states over the Zimbabwean situation.
The police are said to be keen on humiliating him the upon his return, effecting an arrest at the RGM International Airport under the public glare.
The alleged rap_e comes at a time the ruling Zanu PF party is pulling all the stops to ensure Chamisa does not prevail in the party’s upcoming national Congress, where his position is up for grabs.-iharare
