The number of coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe has jumped to 132, amid efforts to contain the spread of the deadly outbreak.
The rise in Zimbabwe, from 56, represents over a 135.71 % surge in 24 hours.
This was announced by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Senator Monica Mutsvangwa during a post-cabinet briefing.
All new cases except one have been registered among returnees from mainly South Africa and Botswana. Only one case is a local transmission.
