Did P Diddy kill Tupac?

Former LAPD cop Greg Kading has made an explosive claim, saying that Diddy paid $1-million to have both Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records boss Suge Knight killed.

Rapper Shakur was gunned down in a hail of bullets in Las Vegas in 1996, a murder many believed was linked to the intense East Coast-West Coast rap fued between Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and Knight’s Death Row Records.

That fued claimed the lives of Tupac and Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace – two of the most celebrated rappers in the history of hip hop music.

Kading claims that Diddy employed Duane Keith ‘Keffe D’ Davis, a member of the Crips gang, to carry out the hit. But on the night of September 7, 1996, it was in fact Keffe’s newphew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson who shot Tupac. Knight escaped unharmed.

In a new documentary called Murder Rap, Keffe claims that he heard Diddy tell a room full of Crips gang members that he would “give anything for Pac and Suge Knight’s heads”. Keffe says that Diddy later approached him and offered him $1-million to carry out the hit. Kading claims he trapped Keffe into confessing his role in the highly-publicised murder by offering him a lesser sentence for a previous crime.

A few months later, Biggie Smalls was also dead. Kading claims Knight hired a Bloods gang member to kill Biggie in retaliation. The price was just $13 000.

Kading was assigned to the Biggie murder case when it was reopened in 2006. This was after Biggie’s mother, Violetta Wallce, sued the LAPD over claims that they had covered up the real killer, said to be a rogue police offer.

As of yet, nobody has been arrested in connection with either murder. – Tonight Reporter
