Emotions ran high in this weeks’ questions without notice session in Parliament when the issue of the allegedly kidnap of MDC-T activist, Itai Dzamara was raised.
MDC-T legislators were the most vocal as they demanded to know what happened to Dzamara, who is alleged to have been kidnapped.
The legislators asked what the state is doing about the matter.
upsound…what is government doing in the disappearance of dzamara who has been missing for the past three days…
Leader of business in the house, Emmerson Mnangagwa replied that the state is equally concerned with Dzamara’s whereabouts, adding that those responsible for his alleged kidnapping will be brought to book.
“Anybody in this country must account for a crime they commit. The concerns you have are the same concerns that we have,” said Mnangagwa.
Dzamara is alleged to have been kidnapped on Monday and police confirmed the incident, saying he was reported as missing by his wife.
