Embarrassed Mugabe Fled SADC Summit After Messing Himself During A Heated Exchange With Botswana’s Khama : Report

A frail President Robert Mugabe reportedly wet himself during the just-ended SADC summit in Swaziland shortly after he had a heated exchange with his Botswana counterpart, Ian Khama, resulting in leaving the summit in a huff, it has been reported bfef6034dab7e57f223e48f4dcf3e90d_XL

Accoring to  the newsy site Zimbotoday ,sources at the summit said that the 92-year old—who is understood to be suffering from prostate cancer—made a mess of himself inside the conference venue, causing untold embarrassment to himself and his delegation resulting in him fleeing from the meeting, making a stop-over in Harare before rushing to Dubai for urgent medical attention.

“He wet himself when the session took longer to end after he clashed with Khama after the latter accused him of being a shameless dictator and it was so embarrassing,” the source said. “It was a very sad situation and most of the delegates who witnessed it felt really sorry for him and felt that Zimbabweans are being cruel to this old man by allowing him to continue (an President) when he is supposed to be resting,” the source added.

This is the second time Mugabe has soiled himself at a SADC meeting, the last time this happened was during a Troika meeting in Gaborone, Botswana, where it was handled with utmost secrecy. President Mugabe’s spokesman, George Charamba, has been mum on circumstances surrounding his boss’ sudden departure from the SADC summit and his current where-abouts. However, according to online flight data, Mugabe landed in Dubai at 7:20am local time, after taking off on a chartered Air Zimbabwe plane, Boeing 767-2N0 (ER) UM1, at Harare International Airport at 10:45pm on Tuesday.-Zimbotoday
