FORMER Warriors and Mamelodi Sundowns midfield kingpin and captain Esrom Nyandoro was robbed of cash, cellphones and car keys at gunpoint in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, on 30 June 2016.

A source said Nyandoro, who moved to South Africa from the now defunct AmaZulu, was alone when the robbers pounced on him and took R25,000 he had as well as cellphones and car keys.

“They did not hurt him. I think it’s because he might have cooperated with them, but from what I understand, he is still in shock,” said a source from South Africa last night.
