Hopewell Chin’ono Plants a Church Following a Dream In Prison , Quits Politics

Award winning journalist and anti – corruption campaigner , Hopewell Chin’ono, has announced that he is with immediate effect to stop critising the Zimbabwe government opting to focus his energy on starting an appostolic sect church following a vision he had in a dream , his friend Job Sikhala has said.

Posting about his new found passion on Twitter, Job Shikala  said Hopewell can’t invest more in Zimbabwe affairs in its current form, because he harbours concerns that MDC formations and Zanu PF ” frustrating his efforts”. 

“Given what I have given to Zimbabwe opposion and my arrests ,” Chin’ono wrote, “I regret that I must leave the stage and fight against corruption .” 

Pencil slim Chin’ono continued in his tweet: ” I will not be able to support this MDC-A on a matter of principle. I am commiting my life to God and looking after my Boar goats . I had a dream while in jail “
