Images :Wedding helicopter cause stir in Glen View Harare

Over the weekend residents of Glen View 8, were left open-mouthed by what they termed the wedding of the year after a private helicopter landed in the high-density suburb for the wedding of Tatenda Choruwa, 32, and his longtime sweetheart Marceline Ndawawa.

According to H-Metro, many uninvited guests rushed to throng the helicopter had which had landed at Glen View 2 Primary School to transport the newlyweds to their reception venue in Glen Lorne. The wedding took place on Easter Saturday.

Choruwa, who is popularly known as Sky Boss, was escorted to the church by a motorcade manned by police officers. Unfortunately, for the many gate crashers, there were unable to proceed to the reception as they had no idea where it was taking place.

One such gate crasher who spoke to H-Metro said,

…We failed to get to the reception since we were not aware of the venue but I wanted to go there and see more.

Wedding planner Kevin Zhou spoke about the wedding saying,

We had guests from different walks of life and some had to fly in to attend the wedding that had a taste to last for years to come.

We had 500 guests although we received some uninvited guests who followed us from Glen View when they saw some guests leaving by road after the couple was airlifted
