Jah Prayzah, Suluman in Joint Show

Expectations are high when musicians Jah Prayzah and Suluman Chimbetu share stage at Ice and Fire Pamuzinda tonight. Chimbetu is expected to give fans his new offering “Gunship” that has been receiving fair airplay since its release. The musician’s publicist Joe Nyamungoma said they were looking forward to a great show as they return to the joint after some months.

“We are playing our new staff at Pamuzinda tonight and we are going to give our best,” said Nyamungoma.

He said they would embark on a national tour soon to promote their new album.

“Shows have been lined up and we are hoping that people will give us the maximum support,” he added.

On the other hand a lot is expected from Jah Prayzah who will be out to prove a point after being exposed as a copyright.

The musician who is one of the finest in the country will be sampling songs from his coming album that will be released in April next year.

His manageress Filda Muchabaiwa said those attending their shows will have the privilege of listening to some of the new songs.

“We are playing these songs at our live shows meaning the album is coming next year,” she said.

The musician recently released DVD for his album “Kumbumura Mhute” and is doing well on the local market.

Meanwhile Chimbetu will proceed to Marondera on Saturday for a performance at Legends Bar.

Owner of the venue Daniel Masaiti said they have decided to host Sulumani on their first anniversary celebrations.

“We are celebrating our first anniversary and we have Suluman this Saturday and Jah Prayzah during the month end,” he said.

He said they were proud to work with Suluman and Jah Prayzah for at least a year.
