Today, Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries leader, Walter Magaya, will appear before a Harare court where he is facing accusations of raping a church member.
Magaya who has been under fire from Mugabe over corrupt allocation of Harare land has been on the spotlight since last year when zimnews revealed sex allegation labelled against the Harare based clergyman.
Last month, a Gweru based woman filed criminal charges against Magaya whom she accused of raping her in June last year at his Mt Pleasant house.
Meanwhile, Magaya has asked his followers not to attend today’s court session.
Though reasons have not been given, there are fears that congregants might come in large numbers beyond the carrying capacity of the courtroom.
