Madonna has been given the green light to adopt twins in Malawi. The pop star was in court in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe today, when a judge gave her permission to adopt two more children from the southern African state, judiciary spokesman Mlenga Mvula said, Reuters news agency reports.
It quoted him as saying:”Today the High Court made a ruling that she should go ahead and adopt the two children. In fact, at the time we were granting her the permission she was in the courtroom with her lawyers.”
Madonna adopted a child from Malawi in 2006 and another in 2009.
