A HARARE man allegedly sodomised his 28-year-old male friend after attending a musical show staged by Wallace Chirumuko, popularly known as Winky D.
 Lloyd Kevin Sirewa, 26, who resides at Pine Banks Flats along Fife Avenue, is alleged to have spiked his friend’s drink with the intension to carry out the hideous act which damaged his friend’s bowels. The victim narrated his heart-rending ordeal in court, saying that he now frequently soils himself as he can no longer control his bowel movement. “When I woke up I saw my friend on my back. He quickly withdrew but I got hold of his manhood and asked why he was doing such a cruel thing to me. “I could feel my body was disturbed. I’m better now but after the abuse it was difficult and painful for me to sit, walk or relieve myself,” he said. A medical report produced in court showed that the victim’s back passage was matted with loose faecal matter with some scratches at three lower points. Sirewa, however, denied the charges when he appeared before magistrate Noel Mupeiwa. He also denied ever spiking his friend’s drink. Prosecutor Tinashe Makiya said on the first of August, Sirewa met the victim at a Harare restaurant and invited him for drinks. They went to a city night club along Fife Avenue and then to Harare Gardens for the show. In both places, they were drinking beer. At around 2am the two went to Sirewa’s flat, court heard. Sirewa then spread blankets on the carpet and they all slept. His friend had his trousers on. Makiya further alleges that Sirewa started caressing his visitor’s behind and holding him tightly. As that was happening, the victim felt as though he was in a dream, making love to his girlfriend. Sirewa then lubricated his victim’s back passage and sodomised him. The victim woke up to find his friend in the middle of his act. He grabbed Sirewa’s penis shouting, crying and asking why his host had done that to him. Sirewa then begged his friend to keep that as a secret, promising to give him a laptop and $200 but the victim refused. The victim then saw some liquid lubricants and condoms scattered in the blankets. At that time he felt that he wanted to defecate and told Sirewa who had a bucket ready for him. However, he messed himself before the bucket was put in place as he could not control his bowel movement.
They later went out, Sirewa begging his friend not to report. He then gave him money for a taxi home but the victim went straight to report the matter at police. After He sodomises , he took the bucket with his waste, the lubricants and condoms to the police station to prove his case.Police then referred him to Parirenyatwa adult rape clinic where the abuse was confirmed. The trial continues Thursday. |
