Harare West MDC Alliance legislator Joana Mamombe has been arrested in Harare after staging an unauthorized protest in Warren Park, according to reports.
Denford Ngadziore posted on his facebook page Mamombe, Cecilia and Netsai Marova were arrested at a Road Block near National Sports Stadium .
They accused Mnangagwa government of failing to protect the poor during the coronavirus lockdown
They are detained at Harare Central Police Station Law and Order Section

Last year Mamombe was arrested in Inyanga where she was out on parliamentary business and charged charged with subversion.
She later sued the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) for US$120 000 after suffering a miscarriage, which she alleges was because of police actions.
