It’s with a heavy heart that we must report that the world lost yet another gorgeous creature this week… a boat belonging to Dr. Walter Palmer.
You may remember the infamous Minnesota dentist as the man who paid $55,000 to kill Cecil the Lion only to suffer zero legal consequences due to Zimbabwean hunting laws… but instant karma may have finally caught up to him.
That’s because a neighbor near the good doctor’s Florida vacation home just stole and crashed his $61,000 boat on Sunday!
Apparently, 26-year-old Andrew Derwin and a friend noticed that one of Walt’s employees had the left the keys out in the open in his Marco Island backyard, and promptly swiped them for a breezy Summer joyride.
Unfortunately for the pair, Andrew crashed the boat later that afternoon — resulting in emergency first aid after the other passenger seriously injured himself on the boat’s propeller!
The thief has a criminal history of 13 prior arrests and is currently being held on $10,000 bail, and we cannot wait to see this aquatic vessel-killer brought to justice to the fullest extent of the law!
Too bad he didn’t just murder a manatee or something… probably would have gotten off with a warning. Right, Doc?
