Rhodesia Road in Chesterfield renamed Zimbabwe Way in review of UK landmarks after Black Lives Matter protests

A Chesterfield couple renamed a street following Black lives matter protests.

Rhodesia Road was renamed Zimbabwe Way in what many believe could be a joke.

London landmarks including the Tate galleries could be renamed following a review to ensure they reflect the capital’s diversity.

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, said the capital is “one of the most diverse cities in the world”, but recent Black Lives Matter protests have highlighted that the city’s statues, plaques and street names largely reflect Victorian Britain.
