Robert Mugabe Says He Won’t Attend Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s Gay Daughter South Africa Wedding In May

Nearly six months after Robert Mugabe has mocked America’s decision to legalise gay marriage across all 50 states by vowing to travel to the White House and proposing to Barack Obama, he is at it again , saying even if invited, he won’t attend  Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu ‘s wedding in South Africa.

Mugabe, who is known for his brutal crusades against homosexuality, has vowed not to touch retired Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s hand and let alone attend such a ceremony, sources close to the nonagenarian leader have said.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s daughter’s gay marriage has sparked a passionate debate on social media. Reverend Mpho Tutu’s marriage to her longtime sweetheart, Professor Marceline van Furth, in South Holland last week led to many criticising the couple, while others rallied in support.

Van Furth now uses a double barrel surname on her Linked In profile: “Tutu-van Furth”. Hendrick Motsoeneng wrote on Facebook: “It explains the reason why Desmond Tutu has been pro-homosexual.”

Kgosi Kgadiete: “No it doesn’t. How can you prove he was opposed to gay marriages before?” Tutu has often stated his support for gay relationships and marriages. One of his celebrated statements are: “I would refuse to go to a homophobic heaven … I would not worship a God who is homophobic.”

Ziphezinhle Malinga also had an opinion: “And she is a reverend. What message does that sending, not that I am judging her or anything.” Shadi Kiewiet responded by saying: “The message she is sending is that we are all God’s children, regardless of our sexuality.”

“Congratulations to Mpho Tutu and her wife. Most congratulations [sic] to Emeritus Arch Tutu for being tolerant of his lesbian child,” said Thulani Nzima.

Reverend Tutu is the executive director of the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation. She was previously married and has two children. Tutu-van Furth is a professor in paediatric infectious diseases in the VU University Medical Centre in Amsterdam and founder of Kids2KidsAfrica.

Mugabe has always said that homosexuals were “worse than pigs and dogs” and warned those practising in his country: “We will punish you severely.”

That’s fine. But I think most people around the world who are CONSCIENCE, would prefer that the GREAT ZIMBAWE continue to use their own CURRENCY, rather than CHINA’S. That would be more of interest than whose WEDDING you chose to, or chose NOT to attend: “FOCUS” it’s 2016. Thanks-

OH! So, you don’t think this mad rush to elevate the lifestyle of homosexuality has a devastating impact on Black African people throughout the world? You don’t think it supports the fledgeling white male power structure? Especially in African shadow governments? Hmmm. Who’s side are you working on? Or maybe YOU need to focus, because your vision is BLURRY!

You have just basically said that blacks aren’t human beings by removing the human instinct to fall in love with whoever you want.

I don’t think this has anything to do with race, Sir. Or am I correct in suggesting that you, yourself are racist?

Lastly, I’m sure you are aware of Canaan Banana and Robert Mugabe’s relationship. I’m sure you’ll be surprised to find a wealth of information.
