Top radio Star FM will today host an outside broadcast at its studios in Mbare from 12 midday to 3pm, in a move meant to take radio to the people.
The broadcast will feature one of the station’s hottest producer/presenters Shingai Mokina, popularly known as DJ Mox on the TXO (the Cross Over.)
Star FM’s Programming Manager Comfort Mbofana says there will be many such similar initiatives by the station this year.
“We would like to meet our fans and have them participate and talk to their favourite presenters during these outside broadcasts,” said Mbofana.
On Saturday, yet another outside broadcast will be held at Sam Levy’s Village in Borrowdale from 9am midday featuring Kelvin Sifelani aka the Soul Supreme. The Soul Supreme will be throwing some serious rare grooves and soul music for the discerning listeners.
Shoppers and diners can expect to interact with this legendary radio broadcaster and other Star FM personalities during the day.
Mbofana expressed excitement about this initiative saying it is the beginning of a greater collaboration with Sam Levy’s village.
Star FM fans are encouraged to come along in their numbers to hang out with their favourite presenters during these two outside broadcasts.
