Student Jailed for leaking O-Level papers

CHITUNGWIZA – A college student from Chitungwiza was sent to jail after leaking the November Ordinary level examination papers for science and commerce. Brian Kaundikiza a student at Fountain College reportedly got hold of the papers on November 4 with the commerce paper having been set to be written on November 5.

He reportedly proceeded to the commerce examination after revising the paper. The Science papers 1 and 2 were set to be written on November 10 and 17 respectively. He was slapped with an effective six months imprisonment by Chitungwiza magistrate Masaiona Shotgame.

In a related case another culprit from Chitungwiza Unit N, Masimba Mlalazi, 21, was also jailed for having the November 2014 Ordinary level Science paper 2 examination paper.

Reports are that on October 30 Mlalazi laid his hands to November 2014 Ordinary level Science paper 2 examination.
The paper had been set to be written on November and he reportedly distributed it to form 4 students.

It is said on November 7 detectives received information to the effect that the accused was in possession of examination papers leading to his arrest.

The examination paper was sent to ZIMSEC who confirmed that the paper was the same and original paper for November examination.
