Taylor Swift’s Wikipedia Page Vandalized After Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Feud

Well, we always knew Wikipedia wasn’t a reliable source anyway. Taylor Swift’s Wikipedia page was vandalized following her “Famous” feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

In the birth name section, the “Shake It Off” singer’s name was changed to “Taylor ‘Slithering Snake Becky With the Good Lies’ Alison Swift,” a nod toBeyoncé calling her lover’s mistress “Becky With the Good Hair” on her albumLemonade. The nasty trolls didn’t stop there, adding Mean Girls’ “Regina George” and “victim” to her list of nicknames and “liar” to her occupations.

The opening line of her bio section was switched to say: “Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter fraud that got dragged to the grave by successful businesswoman Kim Kardashian.”

Once it came to the attention of the Wikipedia editors, they returned the page to its original state and put a lock on the page to prevent certain users from making further changes. “This level of protection is useful when there is a significant amount of disruption or vandalism from new or unregistered users … especially when it occurs on biographies of living persons who have had a recent high level of media interest.”

The “Blank Space” songstress, 26, has certainly been making headlines in the past week. TheKeeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, shared a series of Snapchats that revealed the pop superstar’s phone call with her husband, 39, about his plans to mention her name in his track “Famous.” Although Swift seemingly gave the OK on West’s line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex,” she claimed the rapper never mentioned that he was planning to call her “that bitch.”
