Temba Mliswa file nomination papers for Norton to stand as independent parliamentary candidate

NORTON’S independent parliamentary candidate, Temba Mliswa today filed his nomination papers at Chinhoyi Magistrates’ Court for by-elections are set for October 22.

Besides Mliswa, David Choga and aspiring ZANU PF legislator Ronald Chindedzahave also submitted their papers at the nomination court, the Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN) said in its update.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) Provincial Election Officer for Mashonaland West Austin Ndlovu presiding over the Nomination Court.

The by-election was called to fill the vacancy left following the axing of former Cabinet minister and ZNLWVA chairman Christopher Mutsvangwa from Zanu-PF.
