Tendai Mtawarira Joins The Secures His First Job Since Retiring From Sports

Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira 

Former Rugby Champion Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira has joined the corporate world after retiring from playing Rugby, Sunday News reports.

Tendai was last week unveiled as a shareholder and CEO of newly launched Umlindi Security, which is a subsidiary of Fidelity Services Group.

Part of the statement that announced Tendai’s appointment as the CEO said:

We are excited to welcome Tendai ‘The Beast’ Mtawarira as shareholder and CEO of Umlindi Security. We’re ready to tackle the competition by offering customers the full spectrum of security and related services

Tendai was reportedly the face of the group for 9 years and he expressed his gratitude to Fidelity by saying;

Super pumped and excited to be running my own company as CEO of Umlindi Security. Thank you to Fidelity Services Group for this opportunity.

Mtawarira was also offered a scholarship to pursue his postgrad by the Henley Business School Africa, the scholarship is meant to help athletes transition from the sporting world into the business world after retiring from sports.
