US President Donald Trump’s extraordinary attempt to find a lasting solution to Zimbabwe’s political and economic meltdown has seen the White House nearing a deal in which would see the 94-year-old Robert Mugabe and his entire family given US Citizenship if he agrees to step down immediately, effectively removing him from any sanctions and pave way for Businessman Strive Masiyiwa to take over the administration of the beleaguered Southern African country, theZimbabwenewslive can reveal.
According to leaked documents in the possession of this paper, Mugabe would step down as soon as June 2017. He will then travel to the US and not allowed back in Zimbabwe for at least 24 months allowing for a smooth transition of power.He only has an option of living in Ghana where is a citizen. Other finer details include immunity from any future prosecution for him and his family. A deal with Swiss banks has been sealed that will ringfence his wealth.

“ I can confirm a deal and exciting news that Zimbabweans have been waiting for is nearing a conclusion,” Harry Thomas (Jr) said in a telephone interview from Harare.
Ambassador Mutembwa warned Zimbabweans not to be over excited as there is more work to be done.
“ Yes we are engaging with president Trump. Ambassador Mutsvangwa was in US not long ago”, Ambassador Mutembwa said.Why don’t you wait until we finish our consultations,” he said.

In another telephone interview with this paper, Mutsvangwa said given his previous role in the armed struggle and engagement in government it is logical that he would negotiate a good deal for Mugabe and Zimbabwe.
“Like any other citizen and person associated with the struggle, I am a cadre seemingly pursuing the line to be perceived as consistent and loyal, he said.
Strive Masiyiwa said he will comment at the appropriate time while Zimbabwe ‘s foreign affairs minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi acknowledged that there have been proposals from Trump administration.
