UK:Greenhead village fundraises for Friends of Murambinda

THE coffee morning in Haltwhistle Methodist church hall tomorrow, will be in aid of the two charities close to the heart of Malcolm Todd who sadly died earlier this year.

Malcolm and Helen worked in Zimbabwe at Murambinda hospital and as members of the Friends of Murambinda, they continued to support the work there.

The Multiple System Atrophy Trust supports people, like Malcolm, who suffer from this dreadful disease.

Here, Malcolm made a huge difference to the arts, to schools and to the town twinning association.

ON Tuesday, the gardening club meets in Gilsland Village Hall at 7.30pm.

The speaker will be Lynn Barnes and the subject: Success with Vegetable Growing.

THE Calico Hinnies quilting group will meet in Greenhead Village Hall on Thursday, April 28, from 10am to 4pm.-Hexham Courant
