A secret plot between ex- finance minister and MDC Renewal leader Tendai Biti and the dreaded Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) to scheme and manipulate politics in MDC have been exposed, theZimbabwenewslive.com can reveal.
In the last report, this paper revealed how confidential information has been obtained through sources that have been involved and also privy both within and outside the MDC structure.
According to the document in possession of this paper, a group of MDC rebels led by Tendai Biti in 2012 started implementing a clandestine plan which centred mainly on diverting and holding funds provided to the party by various donors, supporters and funders.
A total of US$12 million was withheld from the party and diverted to secret coffers created by the rebels. It was part of those funds that the rebels have used to bankroll the so-called ‘leadership renewal’ mission.
