Zanu PF murder suspect ‘killed’ in police custody:UPDATE

PROUD Mupambwa the Zanu PF activist who last week reportedly axed his two colleagues over political positions in the ruling party Zanu PF  has been found dead in police cells, in a potentially similar fashion that claimed the life of former MDC Spokesperson and Kuwadzana MP Learnmore Jongwe in 2002.

Mupambwa was set to appear in court Tuesday charged with murder but  police sources said   that he apparently “killed himself” while in police holding cells, while others suggested that he might have been killed by Zanu PF to save itself from embarrassment had Mupambwa stood trial.

Sources have revealed that Mupambwa hit his head on the walls until he died.
