Zanu PF Tells People From Matabeleland to Stop Self-Marginalisation

The people from Matabeleland have been called upon to stop shying away from government programmes as this is tantamount to self marginalisation.

Addressing Zanu PF supporters in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo today, Retired Colonel George Nare, who is one of the directors in the Zanu PF Commissariat Department, bemoaned the self exclusion of the people of Matabeleland from government development programmes.

He challenged the community of Bulawayo and Matabeleland region to put aside the differences of the past and focus on development by embracing government programmes.

He added that the government is working on regularising the Cowdray Park housing challenges to ensure that water, sewerage and roads are put in place to support this community.

Earlier in Nketa constituency, Zanu PF Bulawayo Provincial Chairperson, Callistus Ndlovu called on the people of Matabeleland to dialogue, forgive and look ahead for the good of the region.

The Minister of State for Bulawayo, Angeline Masuku urged the electorate to vote for Zanu PF in the July 30 elections, saying President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s led party is a renewed political outfit that has the country at heart.-zbc
