Zimbabwe Orders to Freeze Moyo , Kasukuwere Bank Accounts

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe has ordered today to freeze the bank accounts of Savior Kasukuwere, former Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and National Housing, and Jonathan Moyo, former Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, during the mandate of Robert Mugabe.

The order also includes any account they have in businesses and companies, according to a report published by The Zimbabwe Mail.

The article states that, apparently, both left the country after the control of the country by the Armed Forces, which led to the subsequent resignation of Mugabe and the appointment of Emmerson Mnangagwa as the new president.

The banks were required to submit before December 8 a detailed report of the balances of all the accounts in the name of Kasukuwere and Professor Moyo, and stop any operation in them.
