Socialite and vosho dance queen Zodwa Wabantu, who is in her early 30’s, asked her “Ben 10” Ntobeko Linda (24) to marry her and said she would pay lobola to his family.
Zodwa has shared a video of herself with Ntobeko Linda and his mother laughing together to clear the rumor that she had misunderstanding with mother-in-law.
“I know it’s been said that I actually don’t know how to speak for myself and I’m mute or what not, but here I am going to speak because I am actually standing with my two queens; my mother and my queen. The mother and the bride,” Ntobeko said.
“Yeah, so please stop saying nasty things about us like ‘I’m Ntobeko’s mother’ or that ‘We don’t know each other’. Don’t come at me,” Zodwa said, to which Ntobeko’s mother added, “We are together.”
Speaking with Daily Sun, Zodwa said they agreed to get marriage as well her 24-year-old is accepted to change his surname to Zodwa without any hesitation.
“But culture has nothing to do with us. We were not there when old people decided to do things their way. We will decide things for ourselves,” she said.
“We are different and we want to do things differently. Some people may not like the way we do things but we don’t care.
“I love my fans but this is a personal issue.”
The loving couple have been together for more than four years.
At the begging it was not easy for Zodwa because social media heavily criticize the star but she did not hold back, now their relationship is stronger than ever as soon they expect to tie the knot.
Now that they have agreed to be married, Daily Sun asked an important question.
“Will your Ben 10 change his surname to yours?”
“Definitely, yes,” said the famous dancer without hesitation. We have talked about it and we agree.”
She said people will start telling them about culture. The loving couple have been together for more than four years.
Pictures of Zodwa proposing to Ntobeko were shared widely on social media and caused a debate in Mzansi, with some people condemning and others praising the couple for their stand.
