Television talent search series The Voice of Ireland returned for its fifth season this Sunday with a Zimbabwean among the hopefuls.
25-year-old Brenda Mangwandi was one of the first twelve hopefuls featured in Sunday’s blind auditions.
Broadcast on RTÉ One, the latest series will see seven blind auditions followed by four Battle auditions and the six final live shows until the winner is crowned during the grand finale on April 24 and given a recording contract with Universal.
Brenda lives in Dublin but is originally from Zimbabwe.
She has also just finished a Master’s degree in Chemistry.
