MUPATSI- Apostolic Faith Mission Church in Zimbabwe (AFM) Pastor for Mupatsi Congregation, Mugove Gutsa has dismissed reports doing the round that he is at loggerheads with his wife because of a relationship with his shopkeeper.
Gutsa said he was aware of the rumour but he blamed it on some members of the community who do not like him.
“I am a Pastor, I have a wife and I cannot have an affair with anyone else. Some people in this community hate me because I am focused on my God, that is why they are fabricating these stories against me,” said Pastor Gutsa.
The allegations are that Pastor Gutsa is in love with Janet Nyuke, his shopkeeper at Mupatsi Business Centre in Chikomba District Sources alleged that the two were seeing each other recently when Pastor Gutsa’s wife went to Harare for maternity.
Nyuke also confirmed the rumour and said Pastor Gutsa’s wife Tsitsi Nguruve actually got upset with her when she heard it. She said Nguruve has however, since apologized to her after realizing that the rumour was not true.
Nyuke said she was currently in Harare and will soon be going back to Mupatsi Business Centre to resume work after Nguruve asked for forgiveness after realizing that the rumour was not true.
Although the pastor’s wife refused to comment, it is alleged that she demanded to be paid 3 beasts by her husband for the alleged adulterous affair.
Nguruve said she does not speak to the Press when asked for comment.
