Supa Mandiwanzira owned radio station, ZiFM has publicly attacked its presenter Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa for misleading the public on who invited Zanu PF activist and businessman, Tafadzwa Musarara to her show, The Platform when she hosted Pastor Evan Mawarire, as the fallout over #ThisFlag gets out of control.
In a statement yesterday evening, AB Communications — the company that owns ZiFM stereo — chief executive officer, Susan Makore said Parirenyatwa had invited Musarara onto the programme and her denials were out of keeping with the station’s ideals.
“It is very unfortunate that statements attributed to Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa on both social media and Sunday papers seem to suggest she was not behind the invitation of Musarara and by the same token, he was not worth to be a guest on the programme,” she said.

Last week Ruvheneko wrote on microblogging site twitter distancing herself from Musarara invite.
“Hello please be very clear that I did not invite Tafadzwa Musarara. He was present, but not on my invitation”,said Ruvheneko
On Friday Ruvheneko told another publication ,“Like I said on Twitter, I never invited Musarara for that particular radio programme”
An source close to Mandiwanzira said the clash between Ruvheneko and Supa is not about who invited Musarara, but a leaked video .
Mandiwanzira and the #Thisflag Pastor were involved in a ‘shouting match’ at the Studios .The two men were caught on camera hurling insults at each other shortly after The Flag Pastor’s interview with Ruvheneko .

The same week he was appointed Deputy Minister by Mugabe, Mandiwanzira announced his resignation as Chief Executive of ZiFM but analysts said the move a token gesture as he was still the owner of the station.
He said he was “leaving” day to day management of ZiFM but this fight with Ruvheneko is proving that he is interfering in editorial matters.
Interference with editorial freedom has always been a thorn in the flesh for journalists in Zimbabwe.
