THE ruling Zanu PF party has joined the global community in condemning the murder of African-American, George Floyd at the hands of a United States white policeman.
Speaking during a news briefing at the party’s headquarters in Harare today, Acting Zanu PF National Spokesperson, Patrick Chinamasa said Zanu PF stands in solidarity with civil rights movements in the USA, minority groups and the entire global community in demanding justice on the matter.
Cde Chinamasa added that Floyd’s case must become a symbol of resistance for the people in Cuba, Palestine, Venezuela, Iran, Sudan and Zimbabwe to call for the removal of illegal economic sanctions which have literally suffocated them.
