General Constantine Chiwenga today issued a stern warning to ZANU PF about what is going to happen given the current political instability within that party. The army today called a press conference that was addressed by the General flanked by his fellow commanders.
He started by pointing out that ZANU PF instability affects the peace and stability of the country. He then went on to point out that he was opposed to the current purges within ZANU PF and he believes that drastic action has to be taken.
“But what is significant to us and to the generality of Zimbabweans is to remember that all these rebellions were diffused by the military, but at no point did the military usurp power. We must remind those behind the current treacherous shenanigans that when it comes to issues of protecting our revolution, the military will not hesitate to step in.”
